Having a useful contact page can be a critical element of your website – assuming that you are happy for people to get in touch with you this way (you’d probably be surprised at the number of church websites that don’t have a contact method on their home page!).

Personally, I prefer using a contact form rather than showing ‘real’ email addresses as they do create quite a bit of SPAM traffic. Providing contact telephone numbers, skype names, IRC names – whatever communication systems you use – is really important to make sure that your visitors can get in touch with you if they need to. It’s also a useful place to have your street and mailing address – or even a Google map of how to find you, like on this page. The key things to remember are are (1) people will want to (hopefully) contact you and (2) there needs to be someone reading the emails from the website and replying!

I don’t promise to get back to you instantly – but I will get back to you within 48 hours.
