RiverLife Community Church Logo

Rob Rodgers, Pastor at RiverLife Community Church in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast of Australia contacted me through the website and asked if I would help them with designing a new logo as they were in the process of rebranding (renaming) their church from Bli Bli Community Baptist Church to RiverLife Community Church.

They had already started the process of brainstorming what a new logo might look like – bearing in mind their vision for the church, their location, local features, etc.  They’ve done a really good job.  They had also done quite a bit of research into other church logos where the church name was similar (like including the word ‘river’ or ‘life’) to see how other people had done it. read on →

Logo for Dominion Campus Project

Short post!!!!

While I was thinking about developing the website for the Dominion Campus Project (see here and here) I thought that we better have a logo for the project that we can use as time goes on.

My son, Toby , offered to develop and donate a logo and this is it – I think it is great.  It is similar to the Destiny Kids logo – but although there are similarities, the active nature (like kids in motion) shown in the images of the logo is a very attractive look.  Anyway, thank you Toby – sincerely.

Chaplaincy Logo

After deciding to start building a website for the Chaplaincy of  Dubai and Sharjah with the Northern Emirates there came the issue of a logo for the Chaplaincy.  Now, you have to recognise that Steve (Chaplain Steve Wright, Chaplain of Christ Church Jebel Ali and the Acting Senior Chaplain at that time) were perhaps a little bit naughty in deciding upon this arbitrarily – however, we did recognise that this might all be very changeable after the appointment of the new Senior Chaplain. read on →

Destiny Kids

Fredrick is a fellow team member of Cell-church Consultants International – and we knew each other in Cairo at Maadi Community Church.  Fredrick has a passion for children’s ministry among the refugee communities in and around Maadi and other Cairo suburbs.  For several years Fredrick has been involved in running vacation bible school (VBS) for refugee kids, as well as other childen’s outreach events throughout the year as God provides for. This is a wonderful ministry and I am delighted to share that this logo was donated by Toby at Inflo Designs for Fredricks ‘Destiny Kids’ ministry. read on →

Christ Church Logo

As part of the website redesign I was interested in establishing a logo for Christ Church Jebel Ali – i.e. establishing a unique identity for the church itself.

Our Chaplain, Steve Wright, and I discussed this and my argument was that with 5 churches in the chaplaincy each one did really need some sort of unique visual identity – and he agreed in principle – and so I developed a very simple logo that we are now using on pew sheets, etc. and hopefully I will get around to getting the new church sign for outside the church finished too (that was one of the jobs that seemed awful urgent then got pushed further and further down the ‘to do’ list!!  Grrrrr
